1. Subscription Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation Rights
You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation can be initiated through:
- Your TrustSetu admin dashboard under Subscription settings
- By contacting our support team via email or contact form
- Through your account settings page
1.2 Cancellation Process
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all features until the subscription period expires
- No further charges will be made after the current billing cycle
- You will receive a confirmation email upon successful cancellation
- After the subscription period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free tier (if available) or restricted access
1.3 Immediate Cancellation
If you wish to cancel immediately and stop using the service before the end of your billing period, you may do so. However, no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the current billing period. All subscription payments are final and non-refundable.
2. No Refund Policy

TrustSetu does not provide refunds for subscription payments. All subscription fees, whether monthly or annual, are final and non-refundable once payment has been processed.
2.1 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- All subscription payments (monthly and annual plans)
- Subscription upgrades or downgrades
- Unused portions of subscription periods
- Third-party payment processing fees
- Any charges related to subscription services
2.2 Billing Errors
In the rare event of a billing error (such as duplicate charges or incorrect amounts), please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and correct any legitimate billing errors. However, this does not constitute a refund policy for standard subscription cancellations.
3. Understanding Your Subscription
Before subscribing, please understand that:
- All subscription payments are final and non-refundable
- You will have access to all features until the end of your current billing period, even if you cancel
- We recommend evaluating our service during any trial period before committing to a paid subscription
- You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but current period charges are non-refundable
4. Trial Periods
TrustSetu may offer trial periods for new subscriptions:
- During the trial period, you can cancel at any time without charges
- If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment will be processed
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription
- Once converted to a paid subscription, standard cancellation and refund policies apply
5. Subscription Upgrades and Downgrades
5.1 Upgrading
When upgrading your subscription:
- You will be charged the difference between your current plan and the upgraded plan
- The upgrade takes effect immediately
- Prorated charges apply based on the remaining days in your billing cycle
5.2 Downgrading
When downgrading your subscription:
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refunds are provided for the difference in plan costs
- You will continue to have access to your current plan features until the billing period ends
- After the period ends, your account will be limited to the features of the downgraded plan
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Service Discontinuation
If TrustSetu discontinues a service or feature that you have paid for:
- We will provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing the service
- You will be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription
- Alternative solutions or service credits may be offered at our discretion
6.2 Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, etc.):
- We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability
- Refund policies may be adjusted based on the circumstances
- We will communicate any policy changes clearly and promptly
7. Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly:
- Contact our support team immediately with details of the disputed charge
- We will investigate the issue and respond within 5 business days
- If the charge is found to be incorrect, a full refund will be processed
- If you file a chargeback with your payment provider, your account may be suspended pending resolution
- We encourage direct communication to resolve disputes quickly and amicably
8. Data Retention After Cancellation
After canceling your subscription:
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
- You can reactivate your subscription within this period to restore full access
- After 30 days, your data may be archived or deleted in accordance with our data retention policy
- You can request a data export before cancellation or within the 30-day retention period
- Financial records and donation receipts are retained according to legal requirements (minimum 7 years)
